With so many different programs out there, it’s difficult to know who you can trust and who is just looking to take your hard-earned money.
What if i told you that you can get all the training you need without spending a thing?
Today i’m going to show you what you need to know and where you can go to get all the training you need.
Affiliate marketing is a lucrative business but you won’t get very far unless you learn how to do it properly.
There are a lot of companies out that will promise you the world but in reality, deliver very little.
So, why is it so difficult to find reliable affiliate marketing training?
Having a Limited Budget
Some of us don’t have the ability to splash out $1000’s on affiliate marketing training and that’s understandable!
The chances are you are wanting to learn about affiliate marketing so you can make some money, not spend it!
You know what they say, you have to spend a little to make a little and in some cases i’d agree!
But in the case of affiliate marketing, I think you can learn almost everything you need to know without spending any money at all.
I know what your thinking, that’s great Nick but how do I do it and what do I need to know?
Understanding The Process
First and foremost, you need to understand the principles of affiliate marketing.
It’s very simple, as an affiliate marketer you will make a commission when you refer somebody onto a product purchase.
Ok, well that doesn’t sound too hard but how do I do it?
This is where you need to work out your strategy, affiliate marketing can be done in many different ways and you need to work out which methods suits you and your skill set.
Affiliate Marketing Methods
Let’s talk about the different ways affiliate marketers make their money, starting with my favorite method which is building an affiliate website.
In my opinion if you want to learn how to do something you should talk to somebody that has already done it.
Affiliate marketing is a crazy business to get into, arguably it can provide the most passive form of income.
Like i say, i knew the best way for me to learn would be to get out there and speak to people that were doing it.
So that’s what i did.
I joined every affiliate marketing facebook group and forum that looked like it could offer me value.
This is where i stumbled across a super affiliate named Warren Wheeler.
I got to know Warren over the course of a year, i joined his group and got involved in the conversation.
After a year or so i reached out to Warren and asked him if he’d mind me interviewing him.
The guy ran an open case study to show how he took a brand new site to $40,000 in around eight months.
The last three months he didn’t touch the website and still it was making him up to $500 a day.

I know you are probably thinking, Nick I’ve never made a website I’m not a computer programmer!
Well the good news is you don’t need to have any experience whatsoever, I’ve built plenty of websites using wordpress and I did it with no prior knowledge of building websites!
YouTube Money
Next up is YouTube! I’ll be honest I spend a ridiculous amount of time on YouTube watching random videos, I love it!
Before you know it I’ve spent three hours watching videos on camel racing and animals playing the guitar, I think I have a problem.
Sorry that had nothing to do with affiliate marketing, but YouTube is a beehive of busy affiliate marketers, some are making a fortune using the platform.
But how are they doing it? Well again through clever videos and marketing they are directing people towards a product or service.
I’ll give you an example.
Say you can play the guitar, you might decide to make a video teaching beginners how to play a particular song, you make it super useful and people are loving it!
Towards the end of the video you might say thanks for watching, in the description below you will find a link to an amazing guitar course for beginners!
The link you have included is an affiliate link to somebody’s guitar course, if viewers decide to purchase, you make a commission.
Pretty simple right? Anyway, Lets get onto the next method.
Email Marketers
Email marketing is another favorite with affiliate marketers, by building an email list you have the power to market your offers and content when you want.
So again, let’s assume that you have an interest in playing the guitar, in order to build your list, you will need to start capturing emails, but how is this done?
If you want to get the attention of people wanting to learn the guitar, you will have to offer them something of value, this is the best way of obtaining an email address.
For this example, let’s say you run an advert offering a free eBook called “Five Crazy tips to help you learn guitar fast” people that are interested will download the eBook and opt into your email list (if they believe they will continue to receive value).
As your list continues to grow so do your marketing opportunities, I recommend sending your subscribers three emails of value before sending a “money” email, your money email will include a link to the affiliate item you are promoting.
Hopefully you are starting to see how affiliate marketing works! Now, at the beginning of this article i promised to show you where you can find affiliate marketing training for free, i’m true to my word and in the next section i’ll reveal my secret weapon, it’s how I got started in the affiliate marketing business.
Free Affiliate Marketing Training
