Your Amazon seller ID is unique and publicly available – it’s your storefront’s unique identifier. Today I’m going to show you how to find an Amazon seller ID.
The steps are simple, and I will take you through what you need to know, starting with some commonly asked questions.
Is a Merchant Token the Same as a Seller ID?
An Amazon seller ID is often referred to as a merchant ID or merchant token – they are the same thing.
This ID not only identifies your storefront and products, but it’s often also required to sign up for some of Amazon’s services.
Since a seller or merchant ID is publicly visible, anyone can access it. However, there’s no harm in others knowing what your ID is.
How to Find an Amazon Seller ID
There are several ways to locate your Amazon seller ID.
The first is via your Amazon Seller Central dashboard.
Once logged in, search for the Account Info tab, which you will find under the Settings drop-down menu. You will now see a Business Information section, where you will find your Merchant Token – this is your Amazon seller ID.
The other way to find your seller ID is to navigate to one of your product pages and click on your seller’s name – you will find it to the right of the product description. You will now see a new URL containing a series of numbers and letters – the screenshot below shows where the Amazon seller ID is located.
