For those of you that haven’t been here before, my name is Nick (That’s me above) and i’m a full time Amazon FBA seller.

Over the years i have discovered that Amazon PPC software is actually quite expensive!

I understand why…. there is A LOT of data to manage and process.

Anyway, i also understand that finding the best amazon ppc software isn’t easy.

I’ve tried and tested many different PPC strategies over the years and i finally feel like i’m in control.

Today i’m going to run through the seller labs ignite software in full.

I’m even going to show you the results from me using the software over the last few months.

If your ad spend is more than $25,000 you’ll need to contact them for a quote.

A lot of the big brands use ignite.. Death Wish Coffee Co and Vermont Teddy Bear to name two.

There is a reason some of the best amazon sellers use the software.

So now we understand the pricing side of things, let’s look at what you actually get…

SellerLabs Ignite Features

Seller labs ignite is purely for Amazon PPC.

Within the software you can create or import new and existing campaigns.

The software links into your Amazon seller account, this is the only way sellerlabs can manage all of your data in real time.

When it comes to managing your campaigns, you’ll be shown bold visuals to take action on their data-driven suggestions.

Here is a simple overview of what you can do:

  • Create New/Import Existing pay per click campaigns
  • Optimize your campaigns based on their data-driven suggestions
  • It will help you understand which keywords you should focus your budget on
  • You will be advised where you can save money on particular campaigns (You may be bidding more than is necessary)
  • You are able to harvest valuable keyword data for listing optimization

It really would take me a very long time to write out EVERYTHING you need to know about their features…

With this in mind i decided to set up a collaboration/tutorial video with their CMO – “Jeff Cohen” – You can watch this below

Now i know from experience, managing pay per click advertising campaigns is VERY time intensive…

Ignite is a powerful AI engine that collects data and analyzes historical performance and trends.

This results in recommendations based on profit-driven algorithms.

That’s a pretty cool summary right….

I almost think of Ignite 2.0 as a personal amazon PPC consultant.

It suggests real actions for you to take based on your data…

Let me show you what their suggestions look like.

They have two indicators to help guide you through every decision..

Confidence and Importance.

Let me show you some of our current ignite suggestions…

seller labs ignite review

As you can see within the “type” column Amazon are telling us where we should increase or decrease our keyword bids.

Within the suggested action, they are telling us what we should revise that bid to.

The confidence and importance section is VERY useful.

The green bar represents the confidence seller labs have in the specific action…

and the blue bar represents the importance of that action.

Within any of your ignite campaigns you will set up your target ACos…

This tells ignite what you are trying to achieve.

Based on this information they will make suggestions to help you reach your targets.

It’s important for you to remind you that it is up to you to interpret the data.

If a suggestion has a VERY high level of importance we might approve the actions straight away.

Otherwise we normally approve actions that have a confidence of at least 60%.

As mentioned earlier we have been using seller labs ignite 2.0 for a few months now and well… look at the results.

seller lab reviews

We started using ignite back in February 2019.

The dots joined by the line represent the ACoS, the green bar = the sales and the blue bar = the cost.

Our primary goal was pretty simple: We wanted to grow our sales!

As you can see in May 19 – Sales jumped considerably!

In June 19 – Things got pretty ridiculous… Look at that jump in sales, with a reduction in cost!

This is exactly the reason i wanted to write about this piece of software.

Ignite 2.0 has saved us money and helped us to reduce our advertising spend.

Pretty incredible results, don’t you think?

Let’s move onto the next part of this seller labs ignite review.

I want to give you a little insight into our PPC Strategy.

Our Amazon PPC Strategy

So as you’ll know the lower the ACoS the better…

Our PPC Strategy depends on our objective.

If we are launching a product, we will be incredibly aggressive with the budget for our EXACT keyword choices.

When launching the cost management side of things goes out the window.

For us it’s all about getting the product to the top of amazon…. for the search terms we are targeting.

When it comes to the campaigns that are running constantly, we think a little differently….

The Break Even Rule

Let me give you an example.

Let’s say we are selling a product for $15 and on each one we sell, we’ll make $5 profit (33% Profit Margin)

This means that we can acquire a sale with up to $5 advertising and not lose money.

We are actually happy to break even on a lot of our PPC campaigns.

BUT WHY NICK – THIS MEANS YOU AREN’T MAKING PROFIT!

I know, it sounds crazy but let me explain.

Within our private label brands, we cross sell a lot of related products…

We know that on average our customers buy more than one product from us over their average lifetime.

Trust me, it’s well worth working out the Life time value of your customers.

So yer, if we break even on a campaign it’s ok…

We are gaining product exposure, boosting our keyword ranking and we are confident that a customer may come back without the ad spend in the future.

If you want a bit of a detailed insight into our PPC strategy, i’d recommend watching the following video.

Anyway, let’s look at some of the main seller labs ignite alternatives…

Seller Labs Ignite Alternatives

So there are a few different alternatives that you can check out.

I’ll list the main amazon ppc software options i’ve seen a lot of people talk about…

Now i can’t vouch for the these pieces of software because i haven’t used them.

I’m only interested in showing you things that I’ve actually had experience with.

I’m active in A LOT of Amazon seller forums and based on what other people are saying Seller labs looks like a better sellics alternative.

There is no doubt about it sellics is popular…

But from a PPC stand point i don’t think the two compare.

Seller Labs Ignite 2.0 is purely for Amazon PPC.

Yes it is more expensive but I suppose you get what you pay for.

In my opinion the Ignite Amazon software is the best I’ve seen when it comes to PPC.

Let’s move onto the next section of this seller labs ignite review.

How To Use Ignite Seller Labs

In order for me to make this article as valuable as possible i want to show you how we use the software.

With that being said, this is just how WE do things…

It’s up to you to decide on the strategy best suited to you and your business.

We use the software to optimize and improve upon our pay per click campaigns.

Are goal is simple…

We want to reduce our ACoS and increase our sales.

Ignite will read our data and provide us with suggestions based on individual keywords and campaigns.

If you want to use seller labs, it’s important that you take your time and learn how to use the software.

The longer you run the software, the smarter it will get.

There is no doubt about it, the software works… You just need to take the correct actions based on their advice.

You can also structure your campaigns to harvest valuable keywords…

All you need to do is turn on an Auto PPC Campaign and after some time Ignite will suggest keywords that should actually be changed to “Exact Match”.

We don’t actually use auto campaigns to harvest data, we follow a different method for that.

But i know that a lot of people do… with great success!

Now, we’ve covered that… I want to provide you with a little more value.

Free Amazon PPC Course

As mentioned earlier Ignite is great but you need to have a fairly good understanding of Amazon PPC.

If you’d class yourself as a beginner or intermediate i’d recommend using the free training below.

Free Amazon PPC Training

If you follow this training all the way to the end, i’m confident you’ll be able to make better decisions within your campaigns.

Let’s move onto the final section of this seller labs ignite review.

Seller Labs Ignite – Is It Actually Worth It?

The aim with a lot of these articles is to show you what is working for us.

It’s fair to say that seller labs ignite is definitely a tool that has been working for us…

The results speak for themselves!

With that being said, Ignite might not be the right move for everyone.

If you are fairly new to amazon and you only have one product, i’d recommend focusing your attention elsewhere.

Before you delve deeper into PPC make sure you know how to do amazon product research.

Figure out the basics, remember this is a marathon… Not a sprint!

I’d also make sure your listing is fully optimized with relevant keywords and top quality marketing images…

Before paying to drive traffic to your listing, you’ll want to make sure your converting customers as well as possible.
